Antibes

Another easy bus or train ride from Nice was Antibes, so I made the trip a couple of times. Top of the must-see list was the Picasso Museum in the very classy Chateau Grimaldi. The Picassos were cool, but it was the Nicolas de Stael paintings that took my breath away.

At the foot of Blvd. Albert 1er is the boules court. It was being played with the usual concentration when I visited, the guys oblivious to the view behind them. (below).
