Hunting TIgers

Summer Palace, Ranthambhore
Went to Ranthambhore National Park hoping to see a tiger, but the closest we got was big fresh pug marks and one very very nervous sambar (the biggest Indian deer) staring into the weeds and stomping around.

Still, it was a beautiful place to canter around (our vehicle was a 'canter') and enjoy spotted deer fawns, antelope and the Ranthambhore Fort, dating back over 1,000 years.

Back at the Nahargarh hotel, modeled on a palace, there was moonlit entertainment.
